Providing a log-on URL for Domino Web Access users
After you register new Domino Web Access users, they will need three things to access their mail files:
The default URL displays the Welcome Page. However, you can give users a URL that will initially display other views. Appending the following text to the URL with a specific keyword (see following table) will cause Domino Web Access to initially display a different view:

.../username.nsf/inotes/keyword/?OpenDocument&ui=inotes

Creating Portal URLs

A portal is a Web site that aggregates information from a variety of sources onto one page. You can provide a Web portal showing only one view of Domino Web Access, or one showing several views. Domino Web Access supports special URLs that allow a particular Domino Web Access functional area to be displayed within an IFRAME (or a full browser window). This view takes up very little screen real estate and limits access to other functional areas.

An individual Domino Web Access portal view is limited to one of the following:

The URL syntax for a Domino Web Access portal showing just the mail Inbox is, for example:

.../username.nsf/inotes/mail/?OpenDocument&ui=portal

To place all of Domino Web Access within a portal page, use the normal Domino Web Access URL without the &ui=portal parameter.

Note See the NOTES.INI setting iNotes_WA_PortalOffline for information on including offline and local archive options in a portal.
