Setting, modifying or deleting the Domino server user's DB2 ID properties
To set, modify or delete the DB2 user account name and password for the Domino server, you must have DB2 administrator privileges. This DB2 ID and password are the Domino server's user name and password that Domino uses to communicate with the DB2 server. The Domino server user account name and password were set during server enablement.

Use this procedure to modify or delete the Domino server's DB2 ID properties for the Domino server. The user name and password are stored in the server's ID file.

1. From the Domino Administrator, click Configuration - Server.

2. Choose the server for which you are setting, modifying, or deleting DB2 server ID properties.

3. Click Tools - DB2 Server - Edit DB2 Login Information.

4. Complete these fields:

DB2 User nameEnter the user name for accessing the DB2 server.
DB2 passwordEnter the password for accessing the DB2 server.

  • If you are setting or modifying the DB2 password, re-enter the new password to verify the password you entered in the DB2 password field.
  • If you are deleting a user account name, re-enter the existing DB2 password to allow the delete to take effect.
Update system accountSelect this check box to update the user name and password stored in the system account. For this beta release, this field only applies to systems running Microsoft Windows.
