1. On the Domino server, log in as the Domino user who will start the Domino server, and then type this command to identify the DB2 instance you are using:
At server startup, this message displays indicating that a number of connections are pre-allocated. The lowest possible number of connections is four, but the value may be greater depending on what is necessary.
DB2 Connection pre-allocation complete, Available Count =<number>
db2start
