Foreign X.400 Domain document - Routing tab
The MTA sorts the documents into a specific order based on least-cost routing:
The MTA sorts individual address attribute values by explicit string first, and then by wild card symbol. To achieve a match, the attribute values (explicit string) in a presented O/R name must match all of the associated attribute values (explicit string or wild card) in the foreign X.400 domain entry.

The following four foreign X.400 Domain documents have been sorted using the above algorithm and presented O/R names are matched against them from top to bottom:

1. OU4=*/OU3=*/OU2=*/OU1=*/O=*/P=lotus/A=Advantis/C=us

2. OU4=*/OU3=*/OU2=*/OU1=*/O=*/P=lotus/A=*/C=us

3. OU4=*/OU3=*/OU2=*/OU1=*/O=*/P=lotus/A=*/C=*

4. OU4=*/OU3=*/OU2=*/OU1=*/O=*/P=*/A=telenet/C=us

A presented O/R name containing the attribute values /P=lotus/A=Advantis/C=us could match documents 1-3, but since they are matched in order, it will always match entry 1. Similarly, a presented O/R name containing the attribute values /P=lotus/A=telenet/C=us will match the documents 2-4.
FieldEnter
Messages Addressed to -- CountryThe two-character code assigned to each country by the International Standards Organization, which appears in the destination address of an X.400 message. Use an asterisk ( * ) to represent any destination country.
Messages Addressed to -- ADMDThe Administration Management Domain appearing in the destination address of an X.400 message. ADMD represents a public service provider, a common carrier, or a postal, telephone, and telegraph authority and is normally a private telecommunications carrier. Use an asterisk ( * ) to represent any Administration Management Domain.
Messages Addressed to -- PRMDThe Private Management Domain appearing in the destination address of an X.400 message. PRMD normally identifies an organization and is very often the name of that organization. It identifies a collection of MTAs that serve individual groups or units within a private company or large organization. A PRMD is usually contained within a country and communicates with an ADMD. This identifier is used by the ADMD to successfully route messages between different companies. Use an asterisk ( * ) to represent any Private Management Domain.
Messages Addressed to -- OrganizationThe Organization name appearing in the destination address of an X.400 message. Use an asterisk ( * ) to represent any Organization.
Messages Addressed to -- Org Units 1 - 4The Organizational unit names appearing in the destination address of an X.400 message. Enter each applicable X.400 organizational unit to be used in routing (OU1-4). Use an asterisk ( * ) to represent any Organizational unit.

Should be routed to -- Domain nameName of the X.400 domain. Enter a domain name if your mail environment has multiple Notes domains and you specified domain-based routing for X.400 in the Global Domain document.
Should be routed to -- Server nameName of the X.400 MTA server. Enter a server name if you have not specified domain-based routing in the Global Domain document.
