SETTING PREFERENCES

To enable Sametime instant messaging in Notes inside Workplace Managed Client
If you are using Notes applications from within the IBM Workplace Managed Client and your company has a Lotus Sametime server, you can set a preference to use Lotus Sametime to provide awareness and chat in Notes. (Whenever awareness and chat is available in the Workplace Managed Client, it is provided by IBM Workplace Collaboration Services, which is also the default service for Notes applications being used inside the Workplace Managed Client.)

1. Choose File - Preferences - User Preferences.

2. Under Additional Options, select "Use IBM Lotus Sametime instant messaging."


3. Click OK.
