To compact your workspace file
You can save disk space by compacting DESKTOP6.NDK file. Compacting recovers unused disk space by removing references to databases you no longer have on your workspace.

1. Double-click any workspace tab.

2. Click the Advanced tab.

3. Click "% used."

4. If the percentage is under 85%, click Compact.

Notes

To keep the DESKTOP6.NDK file small as you work, under "Use no more than n Mb locally for server-based design element such as forms and subforms," choose a small number of megabytes (from 1 to 16) to limit the CACHE.NDK file. When you limit the size of the CACHE.NDK file, Notes removes older, unused cached design elements to make room for new ones.
The CACHE.NDK, which is part of the workspace files, cannot be compacted. When the workspace is compacted, the DESKTOP6.NDK shrinks, but the CACHE.NDK remains the same size.
CACHE.NDK can be deleted to gain extra space on your disk.
