WORKING WITH DOCUMENTS

To navigate to next unread document
When in a document or view, you can navigate to the next unread document without having to scan through a list of documents. This is useful, for example, if you are reading a discussion thread and want to keep navigating to the next unread document without having to close the document you are in, look for the next unread document, and then open the new document.

When you are in an open document and you navigate to the next unread document, you are taken to the next unread document in the current discussion thread, if there are unread documents in that thread. Otherwise, you are taken to the next parent topic of a discussion thread that has unread documents in it, regardless of whether or not you have read the parent topic (you are taken to the parent topic so you can see the context of the discussion). From the parent document you are taken to the next unread document in the discussion.

When you are in a view, and you navigate to the next unread document, you are taken to the next unread document in the view, regardless of what discussion thread the document is in.

1. Open a document or a view.

2. Press TAB, F4, or click the "Next Unread" toolbar icon Next Unread Icon in the Toolbar.
