Setting up Notes for the first time
When you set up Notes the first time, Notes asks a series of questions and uses your answers to configure all your connections. You'll be asked whether you want to:
For all these options, you will also be asked whether your physical connection method is a local area network (which you can use for broad band or DSL service) or a dialup modem.

After completing this process, you will be automatically connected, depending on your answers. For more information, see Getting connected.

You can create new or modify existing connections at any later time by choosing File - Preferences - Client Reconfiguration Wizard.
