Reserving rooms and resources
You can reserve a room or resource for a meeting at the same time you schedule it.

Note To reserve a room or resource, your organization's address book must contain rooms or resources. You also may use a reservation database in your organization. For information about the rooms and resources that are available to reserve, see your Domino administrator.

To reserve a room or resource

1. Open a meeting entry.

2. Specify dates, times, and time zones for the meeting.


3. (Optional) Click the "Find Room or Resource" action button in the action bar to check the availability of a room or resource for a meeting. See Scheduler options for more information.

4. (Optional) To check for room and resource availability using the scheduler, see To see when people, rooms, and resources are free for a meeting.

5. In the Room or Resource field, click the address book icon to find a room or resource listed in an address book.

6. Choose an address book from the "Choose address book" list.


7. Select a room or resource in the list, then click Add.
8. Click OK. If a room or resource is not available at the time of the meeting, the chair receives an automatic decline notice.

Note If at any point you change the location of the meeting, or add another room, Notes automatically reschedules the reservation.
