Marking documents as expired or unexpired
In some databases, such as Mail, Discussion, Document Library, and TeamRoom databases, you can mark documents as expired on a specific date, and you can have Notes archive the documents the next time archiving occurs after that date.

To mark a mail draft expired, use the All Documents view.

At any time after you mark a document as expired until archiving occurs, you can mark the document as unexpired. Documents marked for expiration appear in Mail views with a small clock icon. In other databases such as Discussion databases, marked documents appear with the word "EXPIRED" before their titles.

Note Before you can archive expired documents, the database must have a set of enabled archive criteria that includes documents that are marked as expired.
